[Soekris] Mini-PCI Sound Card

Hi,

I was thinking of that, but it would require more hardware hacking than 
really necessary if it were to be built into the box.

I actually have a USB Audio Class compliant USB to digital optical 
(Toslink or S/PDIF) dongle going if you want it! It's a Xitel 
(http://www.xitel.com/) MD-Port DG1. They make lots of USB audio devices 
in all kinds of ranges. It just works (I've tried it on Mac OS 9 & X, 
Linux, and Windows)... I've now got an AirPort Express so I don't use it 
anymore.
