It would be interesting, though, to be able to upgrade a production
router by simply pulling the CF through an external port. This would
make for a very fast upgrade that could be performed by somebody
non-technical. PXE booting is neat but not a very good option for a
production firewall, due to the DHCP requirement.

Oh well. Maybe this is something that could be addressed in a future
rev.: a CF port that is near the edge of the board and allows for
case-on swap-outs while keeping dust intrusion to a minimum.
