[Soekris] Searching the archives / Heat issues on 4801 CF&HD

Does anyone have a means of searching prior posts to the soekris-tech
mailing list?  Both http://lists.soekris.com and
http://lists.forko.com/pipermail/soekris-tech/ have been refusing
connections lately (for a few days now).  Is there a new/other site to
search the list archives?

Since I'm unable to search, maybe someone can help me out.  I'm having
heat issues on a 4801, OBSD 3.6 (GENERIC), 512MB CF, 40GB 5400rpm.  The
HD is gets hot enough that it keeps triggering the thermal
recalibration (clicking noise).  

Has anyone added a fan to such a setup successfully?  Would a 4200rpm
disk reduce the heat buildup significantly?  Even with the case open,
the temp is an issue right now.  I'd like to find a way to cool things
down.
