You don't say for what use, so it's hard to say. I'm surprised
it works with AA batteries. Ethernet generally sucks power,
not sure if the chips are active with "ifconfig down" on all
of them.
I will recall plenty of time doing video with a battery belt strapped
on. 40 lbs off battery on your waist. Works the abs and legs too :)
You should be able to power a soekris for a day with those suckers.
(and belts are easier than a knapsack full of motorcycle battery :)
