[Soekris] again: sis1, sis2 wont work after bios update

some days a (before beeing on the list) i wrote that the sis1 sis2 on my 4801
don't work any more after updating the bios from 1.22 to 1.24. i saw one reply
to my post suggesting me to use the GENERIC kernel (openbsd). if you look at
the dmesg from my post (12 july 2004) you can see that i am using generic.
the same installation worked befor the bios update but fails after the
update. i am constantly getting watchdog timeouts on the interfaces sis1 and
sis2. does anybody have any idea or do i have to throw my 4801 out of the
window?

unfortunately there's no 1.22 bios for download on the soekris server.
otherwise i would downgrade to 1.22. this was the bios version that was
installed when i bought it.

cheers
