[Soekris] MS RIS boot possible?

Maybe I would understand code better if I sat on a high horse like you
do... ;-)

So what you are telling me (interpreting between the lines here) is that

A) "tip" and "cu" transmit F12 just fine, and
B) the program running on the Soekris (in this case the MS RIS loader)
or the Soekris itself choses to ignore it.

Is that about right?
