Howdy,
I've been using the 4511 quite sucessfully for wireless CPE gear
and I'm looking now at the 4526 as a cheaper alternitive. The cost savings
are attractive because we don't need more than 1 ethernet, don't need
pcmcia, and since it's got flash onboard we don't need a seperate cf
card. In the field and just here in the lab testing, if I hose the CF for
whatever reason (misconfigure it and lock myself out, for example), I can
just pop in a new card and reflash the old one thru and ide-cf adaptor in
my laptop. How would I reflash a screwed up 4526 if it came down to it? Is
it a PXE boot thing (where I boot off the ethernet and have something
re-write the flash for me) or is there some other bios diagnostic tool to
do this?
