[Soekris] connect on serial port

And while the soekris (and many other devices) will speak
faster than 9600, about the ONLY reason to change it is
if you're regularly using it.  Living on a terminal?  Bump
it to 38400, fine, and welcome to 1985.  Modem connection?  You
certainly want it as fast as things will bear.

But for consoles and connections when you're in "oh crap, it's
broken" mode, the biggest pain in the butt is trying to work
around line speed changes and variations.

My terminal server lives at 9600/8/N/1 for all ports except
a fax modem and one stupid 2400 baud device (X10 interface).
