I managed to get wdtsc520-20031030-2.4.22.patch applied and compiled 
for 2.4.28...  And no luck.  Same symptom as the standard driver: the 
module loads, the timer is apparently started when writing to 
/dev/watchdog (well, /dev/misc/watchdog with devfs), but it never 
reboots when the watchdog process dies.

I get this in dmesg:

...and then, nothing.  He's also got this odd "text directive mode"...  
Guess I'll fiddle with that for a bit.
