[Soekris] power the wrong way

I'm just wondering would anything go wrong if I connected the 2 pin
powersupply that i ordered from soekris the wrong way. I mean there are no
markings on the plug so how do u know which way is right as in is left
positive or is right ?

and would plugging it in the wrong way fry the soekris board or just the
adapter.
