There IS NO VIDEO CARD.  There is no emulation of a video card.
This is unix in the classic sense - before people PUT video cards
in their unix boxes.   The video stuff is a hack onto unix in that
the video/keyboard is just seen as a (very fast) terminal.
Soekris just doesn't do this.

Yes.  You don't want getty running on whatever serial0 is for your
OS.  You want getty running on /dev/console (which happens to
use serial0).

2 getty's on one port gives interesting (yet not so useful) results.
