With things like this, NEVER assume, but ALWAYS look it up in the
data sheet for your particular drive. It may (and hece will) vary.

I don't know about other drives, but the Hitachi Travelstar *does*
require a jumper for CS. The Soekris drive mount kit actually
includes a jumper for the specific purpose of setting drives to CS.
