[Soekris] Net4801 processor speed -- 2.5" harddrive reliability and heat issues

| Do you know of another manufacturer that produces 2.5" drives
| rated for continuous duty?

I'm using Toshiba HDD Drives since my first and only Hitachi
disk broke down and haven't any problems yet (since 3 years).

Actually I haven't used thim in a soekris box but in my laptop
and 20h runtime per day is nearly equal to continuous ;)

They even have fast models with 16M cache and 5400 rpm,
I've bought one of those some weeks ago and it runs colder
with less noize etc. so give them a try.

Perhaps you want to monitor your hdd's smart values if you
experience temperature problems.
