Sorry, DWL-G520 (The DWL-G650 is my PCMCIA card (which in HW
version B3 works fine)).

You are right.
The DWL-G520 (at least the A2 version) is a PCI card with a
miniPCI socket and a miniPCI WiFi card).
When you remove the cover, then the connection for the antennae
are revealed as small pads for soldering.
Beware. It requires a steady hand to solder this, but it can be
done.
