Hello;
I have worked with notebook drives and a 128Mb sandisk. I
have been unsuccessful in installing to either. Is it required to first
use PXE to do a network install to a device in order for the soekris
Net4801 board to recognize it? I have tried to flash an image using the
dimensions 980/8/32 to a 128Mb Sandisk. This is what the Soekris board
reports. It fails reading boot. The notebook drives never get any
further than uncompressing the kernel. I would appreciate any help in
this matter. Finally, I am yet to get OpenBSD-3.3 on any system using
an award bios to successfully get bios geometry (Because it is writing
to a Dazzle 2.0 USB writer) to not use a fictiticious geometry when
using fdisk/disklabel/dd. I would appreciate any help in this matter.
the notebook drive is a MK1016GAP (8455Mb 16383/16/63 LBA 19,640,880 on
label) (1024/255/63 19,640,880 sectors to Soekris board). I would
appreciate any help in this matter.
Cheers;
i2
