[Soekris] memory resources on 4511

not sure if i've had problems because of bad software i've written, or 
problems with running out of memory....but periodically i'll get system 
hangs. 

here is a snapshot of "top" information while running normally.  can someone 
confirm this looks fairly normal?  also, can someone explain what the 
"cached" number is and how it works with Mem numbers?  also, one last one,  
if i attempted to run a 5M size program into memory, what would happen based 
on the info below?
