One of the problems I have with the many many SBC x86
boards out there is that they almost all have video
and keyboard.

One of the things I really like about the soekris is
that it has NO keyboard/video and no real way to make
it work. That means that nobdy will end up with a board
where - well, it's easier to put video on this.

Modern video cards can pull more power that many CPUs
(200Watts - 20 times what the 4501 pulls).

No, when I wanted a fanless thin client, an ARM chip.

Like the netwinder.

For x86, there are a billion things that have KVM built in and
your stuck with them. Because of this, they cost more (the
soekris doesn't make be buy a useful VGA).

These are not the droids you're looking for.
