If the current BIOS works with the board, why should you change it?
If you need the added functions in the 1.22 you might want to upgrade.

The changed download mechanism might be an option that compromises 
compatibility with existing installations, therefore the 1.15a is probably 
provided as "stable" for backwards compatibility.

If you read the specs of the net4501/11/21 you might see the only real
difference is the added PC-card/Cardbus. Since the added text says "net45xx"
you might take the hint that the net4501/11/21 can work using the same 
BIOS.
