[Soekris] Problem with SanDisk 256MB CF in 4801

Hi! I am unable to get a SandDisk 256MB CF card to load the kernel
(M0n0wall) correctly. (using the 4801 build released today.)

When I image a SD card I have and place it in a CF converter the Soekris
boots fine. I have tried this with several SD cards. (I image the SD
and CF card using the same CF reader in my Windows PC.)

This appears to be a problem with the CF card, but I am able to format
the CF card and use it in windows with no problems.

Any ideas on how to get this to work? Here are the error messages I
get when booting from the CF card:

ad0: 245MB <SanDisk SDCFB-256> [980/16/32] at ata0-master PIO4
Mounting root from ufs:/dev/md0c
mount: /dev/ad1a: Device not configured
XML configuration file not found.

of course when booting with one of the SD cards it loads everything
properly at this point and the setup menu works.

One last thing: I am using physdiskwrite.exe to write the CF image.
