[Soekris] clock drift on net4801 + FreeBSD 4.9

Greetings,

I am running FreeBSD 4.9 on a net4801...

Amongst other things, the machine is running ntpd to have the correct time.

However, looking at the /var/log/messages, I see this:

    Nov 9 21:22:45 poterne ntpd[77]: time reset -0.181141 s
    Nov 10 01:11:41 poterne ntpd[77]: time reset 0.205618 s
    Nov 11 01:43:40 poterne ntpd[77]: time reset -0.136751 s
    Nov 11 10:09:10 poterne ntpd[77]: time reset -0.222172 s
    Nov 11 12:13:30 poterne ntpd[77]: time reset 0.138263 s
    Nov 11 15:35:37 poterne ntpd[77]: time reset 0.142746 s
    Nov 12 20:53:29 poterne ntpd[77]: time reset -0.219649 s

Now, that doesn't look too good...

What should I be doing to get the clock to be more stable? Any suggestions?

Thanks

Denis, who likes accurate clocks.

PS. Here is the output of 'ntpq -p' :
remote refid st t when poll reach delay offset
jitter
