What ever you do, its only a matter of how much effort someone else is 
willing to do to unlock it.

Keeping things simple you could use an md5 signature in the BIOS FLASH. 
Play it against one or all MAC addresses before you are willing to 
allow your code to run. This way if they simply copy everything at 
least they can't run two on the same network segment, or adjacent 
networks.
