I am making lots of improvements to wi(4) in NetBSD, so I will investigate
these questions as I go. I am not hopeful that the answers will be
positive, at least not with presently-available firmware.

I fear the Prism firmware insists on writing the adapter's MAC to
a frame's source address field, preventing wi(4) from working with
bridge(4), except in HostAP mode.

I don't think that WDS can be used, yet. Again, I think that the
problem is the firmware insists on overwriting a MAC when it should not.
Archived discussions on the Linux HostAP mailing list incidate this.
Intersil hints that in a future firmware revision, WDS will work.
