[Soekris] Re: Cannot boot 4501 from CF

Have you taken care of the serial output. The kernel
has to be passed parameters from lilo in lilo.conf so
that it uses serial console as the output.
Sample lilo.conf
prompt
timeout="50"
boot="/dev/hda"
map=/boot/map
install=/boot/boot.b
vga=normal
compact
serial=0,19200n8
default="linux"

image="/boot/vmlinuz"
        label="linux"
        initrd="/boot/initrd-2.4.18-3.img"
        read-only
        root="/dev/hda1"
        append="console=ttyS0,19200n81"
